Abortion is the most common surgical procedure in the United States! By the age of 45 between 1 in 3 and 1 in 4 women will have had an abortion. 50% of all pregnancies are unplanned and 50% of those are terminated. For most women, the decision to have an abortion is not difficult—“I don’t want to take away from the children I have”, “This is not the right time”, “I don’t want to have a connection to the man who got me pregnant”, “I need to finish school”, “I’m too sick to continue the pregnancy.”
Women who decide for abortion overwhelmingly report no regret about their decision immediately afterwards or years later. Most women having abortions—60%--are already mothers, love and care for the children they already have.
Abortion performed in a licensed setting with a trained professional is extremely safe—much safer than having a baby. Abortion does not lead to mental health problems, physical health issues or any problems with future pregnancies. It does not cause preterm labor, pre-eclampsia or infertility.
Some women share their decision with partners, family and friends, some do not—but in the end, ONLY THE PREGNANT WOMAN CAN DECIDE WHAT IS BEST FOR HER.

We have almost 40 years of experience in providing first and second trimester abortions and our physician, Dr. Morrison, is a Board Certified Obstetrician Gynecologist with more than 30 years of experience and expertise.
Most abortions can be completed in one day with all services occurring at our facility, including ultrasound, counseling session, physician evaluation of medical history, IV moderate sedation, the abortion procedure and recovery. All patients are supplied with a 24 hour phone number to call for concerns, instructions and offered a follow-up appointment with Dr. Morrison.
