ABOUT BUFFALO WOMEN SERVICES
Buffalo Women Services opened in 1983 offering 1st and 2nd trimester abortions. We moved to our current location at 2500 Main Street in 1993.
Buffalo Women Services has endured violent anti-abortion protests including Operation Rescue, Spirit of Life in the 1990s, and the 1998 assassination of our beloved doctor Barnett Slepian. As which rights are under attack nationwide but proudly supported in New York State.
We are tough! We are undeterred by protests and our commitment to reproductive justice including pregnancy termination is unwavering!
Our building has been rated one of the most secure abortion facilities in the country and our staff is warm, compassionate and caring. You will be cared for by an experienced staff and female Board Certified OB/GYN who has admitting privileges at Buffalo area hospitals.
